Gods are based upon the domains, with each domain having a god to represent it.
Represents the Arcana.
Usually depicted as a mysterious shadowed figure in black and purple robes.
All magic is said to be drawn from them, a gift granted out of their generosity. To misuse that gift is considered an insult to the Spell-Maker.
Represents the Blade.
Usually depicted as a hulking warrior covered head-toe in spotless, silver glowing armour, wielding two large swords of equal condition to their amour.
Their swords are said to be able to cut through anything it wants, while also phasing through whatever shouldn't be cut. Old legend states that the mortal realm's knowledge of swords was passed down by the Realm-Slasher to an old blacksmith centuries ago.
Represents the Bone.
Usually depicted as a figure clad in lightweight ninja gear, wielding throwing knives.
Can supposedly contort their own skeleton to dodge any attack, and has never missed a throw. Many attribute it to the Bone-Bender whenever they instinctively dodge an attack.
Represents the Codex.
Depicted as a figure made entirely out of pages from books.
Supposedly knows every secret the universe has to offer, and only speaks in sentences from books. Ancient scholars claimed to have received the knowledge they wrote in their books from the Book-Speaker in their dreams.
Represents the Grace.
Depicted as a figure dressed in suave clothing, face obscured by the shadow of a fedora. Has a honey tongue.
Supposedly their honey tongue can convince anyone of anything, in fact it's where the phrase "honey tongue" originates from.
Represents the Sage.
Depicted as a figure made from earth. Dirt flesh, grass skin, vines for hair and flowers for eyes.
All of nature is treated as on extension of them. To needlessly harm nature is seen as an attack on them by some.
Represents the Splendour.
Depicted as a figure clad in white robes, with a blinding light shining from their head.
Is believed to be the route of all life and death on the mortal realm. Some even believe the sun is connected to them, and will go out should life cease to exist.
Represents the Valor.
Depicted as a giant, hulking figure made from many metals.
All metals are thought to be a gift from the Steel Titan they have taken directly from themselves, so that they can defend mortals in their time of need.
Represents the Midnight.
Has no depiction.
The most mysterious god, not in any books. Their existence is still contested by many, mostly due to lacking any kind of historical trace. However people swear they can feel their presence in the darkness.
Was created by the gods an unknown number of years ago.
Set on the continent of Teren, in the republic of Cazadaine.
Ran by an elected council.
Current year is 200 PR (Post-Reformation).
Rather than being one unified kingdom living under the same rule, the republic instead allows the different civilisations within it to act on their own accord, with the council more focused on maintaining peace and civility.
Is home to a wide variety of species, and is rich with magic, and danger.
World uses coins as currency
10 coins = 1 handful
10 handfuls = 1 bag
10 bags = 1 chest

All information regarding hell is gleamed from a book written by a man centuries later after supposedly having been visited by the Book-Speaker in a dream.
The book is entitled "Origo Inferidis", meaning "The Origin of the Infernis", infernis being an archaic term for Tieflings. It speaks of an ancient kingdom called "Arborlocus", which had sorcerers capable of magic unknown by the sorcerers of today. Using their magic, they had opened a rift to another realm called "Hell", but upon opening it were attacked by horned beasts known as “Demons”. The rift was closed, but the damage was done. Aborlocus was wiped off the face of the map in just a few days, and is believed to be the scorched crater now known as “Hell’s Pit”.
The world is home to many kinds of monsters, but these are by far the ones feared most. The demons who remained in the mortal realm after the destruction of Aborlocus didn’t last long, not being built to survive for too long outside of Hell, but they left their mark either way.
The Marked are descended from any living creature that made contact with a demon. When a creature is marked, their is a chance that they'll turn into a demonic version of themself. This process is called "Infernalisation". It is a dormant condition, capable of going generations without being triggered, and there is no way to know who is marked unless they or something biologically related to them infernalises.
When a creature infernalises, their are varying levels of severity to it. How severe their infernalisation is fully depends on ones willpower, and ability to resist the takeover. A general rule of thumb when it comes to infernalisation, is the more demonic they look physically, the more demonic they are mentally, and vice versa.
A demonic ability is an ability that infernalised creatures recieve upon infernalisation. It can be something simple, like fire resistance, or something powerful such as the ability to create lava. The more powerful a demonic ability is, the rarer it is.
A level 1 infernalised creature posseses demonic physical traits, such as altered skin tone, horns, tails, demonic eyes, and minor demonic abilities. They will however, retain their initial mind and personality, and will not experience any changes outside of the purely physical. Level 1 infernalised humans are commonly known as "tieflings". They are capable of reproducing, and their descendants will continue to have their demonic physical traits.
Like a level 1 inferalised, they will change physically to look more demonic, however their transformation will be much more severe. Inhuman physical structure, strong demonic abilities, and violent urges. They original self will still exist, but it will fight to compete with the newly born demonic side.
The most severe case of infernalisation. At this point they can barely even be recognised for what they once were, being twisted into a purely demonic beast. Nothing remains of their original mind, having been replaced with the mind of a monster. These are dangerous, possessing powerful demonic abilities and extreme destructive capabilities. They are demons, born within the mortal realm, capable of survivng within the mortal realm.
Stronger infernalised creatures have become such a threat to the mortal realm, that the republic has taskforces all over the republic dedicated to hunting and killing level 3 infernalised creatures and in some cases level 2s should they be considered too dangerous to live.
A little over a decade ago, a city called "Zerstort" was destroyed by a level 3 infernalised dragon that has been since been named "Drariakmyr". It is the only recorded case of a dragon infernalising, and has been classified as an extremely high priority threat. It has not been seen since that incident, and is theorised to be in hibernation. It's location and demonic ability is still unknown. There is a reward of 52,000,000g for whoever slays or captures it.
A firbolg guardian named Tavric, searching for his father Hamish after discovering he's wanted for murder, heads to the city of Gritith (pronounced Griffith), his last known location. Meanwhile, an elf sorcerer named Callum also heads to Gritith after waking up ashore after a fatal boating accident. He hopes that someone there will have some info about the whereabouts of his infernalised son, or at least will know of a way to find him. Finally, within the city resides a faerie seraph named Finch, a professor of religious studies. His friend, named Parker, is the man Hamish is wanted for murdering. Hamish had settled in Gritith years prior to the murder, having been conducting his own private solo research. The day of the murder, Parker was found with his throat slit in Hamish's office, with Hamish nowhere in sight. The office was in disarray, and all the research seemed to have been taken, as if he had left in a hurry. This ends with Tavric, Callum, and Finch all meeting, Finch having been approached by the two. Callum wished to know a way to find his son, Tavric a way to find his father. Finch ends up telling them about the murder, and Tavric reveals to Callum that Hamish was a genius when it came to locating infernals, a skill he used to keep his herd out of danger from them. The three of them team up, all with the goal of finding Hamish. Tavric, to find him and confront him, Finch, to find Parker's killer, and Callum, to find the man who can help track down his son. Three strangers united under one goal, find Hamish.
